Terms of use

Sporvo is a platform that helps people find sports games, partners and communities in the UAE, and helps organizers run them. By creating an account or using Sporvo you agree to these terms.

1. Who can use Sporvo

• You must be at least 15 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or guardian knows you use Sporvo and play games arranged through it.
• One person, one account. Keep your sign-in details private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
• You must give accurate information, including your date of birth.

2. Names and what other players see

You give a full name, which stays private, and a nickname, which is public. Other players see only your nickname. Organizers of games you join can see your full name and contact details so they can run the game. Nicknames must not impersonate anyone, include contact details or be offensive; we may change or remove a nickname that breaks this.

3. Organizers and games

• Games, sessions, tournaments and communities are created and run by independent organizers, not by Sporvo. Organizers are responsible for their activities, venues, prices, safety arrangements and conduct.
• Organizer accounts are approved by us and may be suspended at any time.
• The participation fee is set by the organizer. When you pay through Sporvo, you are paying the organizer for your place.

3a. Communities, partners and tournaments

• Communities are run by organizers and their co-admins, who can post announcements, remove members and add games to the community. A removed member cannot rejoin unless an admin allows it. Posts must not harass anyone, include contact details or advertise.
• Teams and partners: if you sign up for a team game, your team takes one place and pays once. If any member cancels, the whole team's place is cancelled. A partner listing is public to players in your age group until it expires; its note must not contain phone numbers, email addresses, links or social handles. There is no messaging between players: use the invitations.
• Tournaments are run by their organizer, who makes the draw and enters the scores. Results shown on the platform are the organizer's. If you withdraw after the draw, your opponents may advance without playing.

4. Payments

Organizers choose how to collect payment: card payment through our payment provider, a payment link from another provider, cash at the venue, or free. We do not store card details. Payment status for each registration is shown to you and the organizer.

5. Cancellations, waiting lists and refunds

Each game shows its cancellation deadline; unless the organizer sets another time, it is 14:00 on the day of the game (UAE time). Cancel before it for a full refund; after it, no refund applies unless someone else takes your place (from the waiting list or by joining), in which case you are always refunded. 6. Playing safely

Sport carries a risk of injury. You take part at your own risk, should only join activities that suit your fitness and level, and should follow the organizer's and venue's instructions. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law.

7. Behaviour

• Be respectful. No harassment, discrimination, abuse or threats.
• Do not use Sporvo to contact players under 18 outside of arranged games, or to collect personal information. Do not put contact details in listings, announcements or nicknames.
• Do not misuse the service, attempt to break it, or create accounts to avoid a suspension.

We may remove content, suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

8. Our responsibility

We work to keep Sporvo available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that games will go ahead or that organizers will behave as promised. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for what happens at activities run by organizers.

8a. Your account

You can download your data or delete your account on your account page (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

9. Changes and contact
