Cancellations and refunds
Last updated 23 October 2026. Operated by Sporvo (legal entity to be confirmed).
Cancelling your place
- Every game shows its cancellation deadline. The default is 2:00 PM on the day of the game, UAE time. An organizer may set a different time for their game.
- Cancel before the deadline: you get a full refund of what you paid for your place.
- Cancel after the deadline: no refund.
- Exception: if someone else then takes your place, whether from the waiting list or by joining, you are always refunded, whenever you cancelled.
Team games
- A team takes one place and pays once (the price per player times the team size). Either member can pay.
- If any member cancels, the whole team's place is cancelled, and the rules above apply to the team's payment. A refund goes back through whoever paid.
- If your team is still being put together, nothing is held or charged until it is complete.
Tournaments
The same rules apply to the entry fee. Once the organizer has made the draw you can still withdraw: your opponents advance without playing, and you are refunded only if you cancel before the cancellation time or the organizer removes you.
If the organizer cancels
If an organizer cancels a game, players are refunded in full.
Waiting lists
When a place opens, the next person on the waiting list is offered it and has 90 minutes to accept. If they decline or the time runs out, the offer passes to the next person. The organizer can also assign a place by hand.
How refunds are paid
- Card payments: refunded to the original card. Your bank may take several working days to show it.
- Payment links, bank transfers and cash: the organizer refunds you directly and marks it in Sporvo, where you can see the status.
